Virginia Grass Simmons has won multiple awards in teaching and oil painting. Virginia is a professional painter whose work is regularly in national and regional level painting shows. Once being named teacher of the year for Sedgwick County, she now puts all of her talents into oil painting.
12:30pm – 2:30pm Gayle Clayborn - 2D painting and drawing
Gayle Clayborn is an energetic, passionate artists that has been teaching private and group lessons for over 12 years. A handful of her youth students received national award.
3:00pm – 5:00pm Babs Mellor – Sculpture with water based clay
Babs Mellor is a professional sculptor. She has studied with many world prominent sculptors in the United States and Italy. Her sculptures can be seen at Century II, Newman University, Friends University and many more. Babs’ works have also been featured in museums, art publications and have received many artistic awards. She has been teaching full classes at The Wichita Center for the Arts since 1974.
5:30pm – 7:30pm Andy Patton - Figurative Clay Sculpture
Andy Patton is a classical sculptor who has studied under several masters such as Bruno Lucchesi, Babs Mellor, and Vincent Aniano. He has also attended the Wichita State University School of Fine Arts. Andy is currently president of the Wichita Sculptors Guild

10:00am – Noon Mary Binford Miller – Oil Painting
Mary Binford Miller received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kansas State University. She has been trained as a classical oil painter and uses that approach in her teachings. She is an award winner in both commercial and fine art fields. Mary is represented by Southwind Gallery of Topeka and The American Legacy Gallery of Kansas City, Missouri and Artworks of Wichita. www.marybinfordmiller.com
12:30pm – 2:30pm Lori Martin Price – Jewelry wire and metal
Lori Martin-Price earned her BA in Metalsmithing from the University of Kansas. She is a professional artist who participates in various art fairs and has her jewelry in several galleries. Lori currently teaches K thru 12 art at Elyria Christian School. She is Vice-President of the Artists - Visual Arts Alliance of McPherson.. Her website is www.llmpsilverworks.com.
3:00pm – 5:00pm Susan deWit – Fiber work on a spinning wheel and felting
Susan de Wit taught ceramics at Newman University for five years. She greatly enjoys working with large groups of people to create collaborative community art. She is a Roster Artist for Arts Partners. She maintains a private studio in the city and is a founding member of Works of HEaRT, Inc.; a nonprofit organization that works for social change through the arts.
The Wichita Center for the Arts: Youth Palette
The Wichita Center for the Arts will be hosting the “Youth Palette” at this year’s at Autumn and Art. On Saturday and Sunday we will have three stations, focusing on different media of art including: painting/drawing, mixed media and clay. Each tent will have two to three different projects from making flowers to clay cups, wire projects to cartooning and scratch art to pastels. We will also offer face painting and information about youth and adult art classes, our gallery and theater. You won’t want to miss this free interactive learning art area.

Cannon's 'Higher Calling II' to be Centerpiece Art
After winning ‘Best in Category’ at last year’s Autumn & Art, Jeffrey Cannon returns as the show’s 2012 Featured Artist. Cannon’s vivid pastel paintings of beautiful scenic landscapes capture the essence of the the Midwest and the 3rd Annual Autumn & Art at Bradley Fair.
The Texas native has been exhibiting his art at shows throughout the nation for 40 years, garnering awards at notable shows such as the St. Louis Art Fair, Austin Fine Arts Festival & Naples National Arts Festival. In his career, Cannon has also commissioned pieces for books, universities and private residences.
